Warranty

Season Living Pty Ltd (ABN 96 626 512 963) trading as Season Living (“Season Living” or “we” or “us” or “our”) provides this warranty for its products that have been purchased in Australia (“Warranty”). This Warranty is subject to the Australian Competition and Consumer Act. The benefits provided in this Warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law, and any other laws in relation to the products to which this Warranty relates. The Warranty period commences on the date of receipt of the goods.

CONSUMER GUARANTEES:

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods not amount to a major failure. To the extent that they are compatible with the consumer laws in Australia, the exclusions and provisos that apply to the Season Living Warranty apply to the consumer guarantees.

This Warranty covers the replacement or repair of any product that has a manufacturing or material defect that is not the result of normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristic of the material used. This Warranty is not transferable and any subsequent purchaser buys the product ‘as is’, without the protection of the Warranty.

The Warranty does not cover products used for commercial purposes.

EXCLUSIONS:

Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, this warranty does not apply to any products sold as seconds, display pieces, repaired products, or products that have a defect In addition, this Warranty will not apply if:

(a) Repairs to a product are made or attempted by a service provider other than one approved by Season Living.

(b) The product has not been used or maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions as provided with the product.

(c) The customer uses the product in an abnormal manner for example if the product is abused, misused, dropped, crushed, impacted with any hard surface, exposed to extreme heat (including fire) or cold, not maintained properly or used after partial failure.

(d) The product has been modified, incorrectly adjusted or operated, subjected to incorrect electrical supply or inconsistent electrical supply or used with inappropriate accessories.

(e) The product is tampered with in any way.

(f) The product is used outdoors.

(g) The product has not been purchased directly from Season Living.

We provide the following limited warranties subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. We will refund or replace the Product as the case may be in the circumstances and to the extent required under the Law if the Product you receive
  • has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
  • is unsafe
  • is significantly different from the sample or description
  • doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.

  1. Where a refund or replacement is to be provided under the terms of this warranty, we may to the extent permitted under the Law, require the return of the Product to us before refunding or replacing it.
  2. Replacement products are subject to the same warranties as the original.
  3. You must retain your proof of purchase for any manufacturer warranty claims.
  4. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time.

HOW TO CLAIM AGAINST DEFECTS?

To claim under this Warranty or a consumer guarantee, you must notify us within a reasonable time, generally 7 days from the defect occurring. You must notify Season Living Customer Service by emailing support@seasonliving.com.au and provide your name, order number, delivery address, phone number, product details and description of the defect being claimed.
